Clothing Swap CLOTHING SWAP! It's time to clean out some of your used clothes! Please bring in all clothing items between now and December 9th. You can drop items off with Mrs. Sorensen in the library. The Clothing swap will be after school on Thursday, December 11th!

Scholastic Writing Competition ATTENTION WRITERS - it's time to step up and compete! Submissions are now open for the Scholastic Writing Competition. This is the largest and longest-running student writing competition in the nation. Check out submission categories using the QR code on the posters around school and talk to your English teacher or Mrs. Swanson for more details. Deadline for submissions is December 12th.
Drama Audition Sign-Ups AUDITION posters for the MDHS Winter Play are posted! Sign-ups are Wednesday, December 3rd. Sign-up to audition for performance OR to be a part of the stage crew. The play is open to ALL MDHS students.
Student Council STUDENT COUNCIL SCAVENGER HUNT!! Pie is on our mind, and we want you to find the pumpkin pies that are hidden around the school. If you find one, bring it to Mrs. Sorensen for your sweet reward! There are FIVE pies to be found! Have fun + Good Luck!
Food Drive Results Thank you to all of our students who participated in the NHS Food Drive. In last place we have the Freshman with 66 cans. In third place, we have the Junior's with 83 cans. In second place, we have the Sophomore's with 114 cans and in First place, the Senior class with 119 cans! The Spirit Helmet will remain with the Seniors! Seniors, redeem your prize today during lunch in the commons.
Special Olympic Announcement National Special Education Awareness Day is Tuesday, December 2. Show your support by dressing up as you favorite superhero. International Day of People With Disabilities is December 3. Wear blue to support inclusion.
Turkey Trouble Contest TURKEY TROUBLE CONTEST! The results are in for the most disguised turkey. In first place for the $20 Visa gift card is WILL CARROLL's snowman. In second place, we had BELLA RUBIO'S popcorn box and in 3rd place, MARSHALL CURTIN'S Crayon box. Congratulations to our three winners - please stop by the library. Mrs. Sorensen has your prizes!
